He spoke candidly about his experiences growing up in Sicily that inspired his photo essays dealing with social issues and topics related to identity, the environment, migration, and macroscopic human transitions.
He took us on a journey through his works, explaining what drew him to the subject matters and his motivations for founding Photo Meet – an organisation he set up to help young photographers progress in the industry.
