Hiring: Midweight designer

About you

This is a role for a creative person with a curious mind and passion for branding, design and culture. You’ll be a ‘hands-on’ member of our team and an integral part of the studio.

You’ll also need an eye for detail, caring about every pixel and comma. You take responsibility and work well in a team, keeping a level head when working to deadlines.

With +5 years proven agency experience, you know the branding process inside out and champion the power of design. You’re also a keen problem solver, are curious to learn, and eager to make things happen.

– An ability to think conceptually and creatively in order to deliver the ‘Big idea’
– Driven to build brand design systems of meaning and value
– A superb portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills and craft
– A strategic thinker who can use their insights to contribute to the work
– Confident and forthcoming with ideas, able to question and challenge briefs creatively
– Pro-efficient in the core Adobe suite (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop)
– Experience in interaction design (UI/UX, website, app design etc.) and/or animation (After effects animation, dynamic typography and editing in Premiere)
– Be comfortable both working independently and collaboratively as part of the team
– Able to drive projects forward and keep things on track every day
– Curious, enthusiastic and love being part of team
– Good communication skills and comfortable working directly with clients
– Ability to write and construct arguments to get your message across
– Committed, passionate about projects and delivering thoughtful, beautiful work

Manasian&Co is unique and unlike any other brand agency. We have big agency experience but a small agency culture. We’re a select team of talented designers, writers and organisers – and all creative thinkers. We’re like-minded people with different backgrounds and perspectives, we have all sorts ranging from satellite designers to ceramicists.

Our studio is located in a secret garden in the heart of London. The grounds of the Charterhouse were once a Carthusian monastery dissolved by Henry VIII. Since 1371 it’s been a monastery, grand mansion, school and almshouse. It’s a quiet oasis in buzzy Clerkenwell – a unique place to think and work.
